About The Position

The Nursing Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care, considering the special needs of pediatric and geriatric patients when indicated. The role also helps maintain a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse of the team and/or unit. This is a part-time day position working 24 hours weekly.

Essential duties include personal hygiene, routine vital signs, routine care, and documentation of patient care in the EMR based on scope of practice.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.
• Successful completion of an approved Aide Training Program/SRNA.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide nursing care, considering pediatric and geriatric patients’ special needs when indicated.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse of the team and/or unit.
• Provide personal hygiene care.
• Take routine vital signs.
• Provide routine care.
• Document patient care in the EMR within scope of practice.
