About The Position
The Nursing Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care, considering the special needs of pediatric and geriatric patients when indicated. Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse of the team and/or unit, the Nursing Assistant also helps maintain a safe and clean environment. This is a part-time day position working 24 hours weekly.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience preferred.
- Successful completion of an Approved Aide Training Program/SRNA.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
- Provide routine care and take routine vital signs.
- Document patient care in the EMR within the scope of practice.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse of the team and/or unit.
- Consider the special needs of pediatric and geriatric patients when indicated.
