About The Position
The Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing care to a patient population under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role is with CPMC-California Pacific Medical Center Davies. It is a regular, full-time position with an 8-hour day shift, 32 weekly hours, and variable days of the week. Weekend work is required every other weekend. The position is non-exempt and union-represented. Eligible positions include a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Hospital Assistant or equivalent training as a nursing student.
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
- Communication, organization, and relationship skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care hospital, or experience as a nursing student.
