About The Position
The Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing care to a patient population under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This is a full-time, day-shift position in Med Surg, with 8-hour shifts and 32 weekly hours. Days of the week are variable, and the position requires working every other weekend.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Hospital Assistant training or equivalent training as a nursing student.
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care hospital, or nursing student status.
- Communication, organization, and relationship skills.
