Nursing Assistant - Med Surg - Per Diem Days
About The Position
The Nursing Assistant works in the Medical Surgical unit at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, California. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Nursing Assistant provides routine direct patient care in accordance with unit policies and procedures, reports pertinent information to the Registered Nurse, and responds to patient care needs. This is a per-diem position with 12-hour day shifts. St. Joseph Hospital is a four-time Magnet-designated hospital, a recognition of nursing excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Requirements
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Six months of experience in acute care or psychiatry, or completion of the first semester of a Registered Nurse academic program, or equivalent Nurse Assistant education.
