About The Position
The Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry Department is a certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. The position is at Riverview Regional Medical Center, a 281-bed acute-care hospital in Gadsden, Alabama.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
Responsibilities
