About The Position

Concordia at the Orchard is a personal care facility in Butler focused on helping residents maintain safety and independence. The Non-Certified Nursing Assistant assists with medication administration consistent with resident support plans and provides support with residents’ daily care needs. This is an entry-level-friendly opportunity with paid on-the-job training and a supportive team environment. Part-time and full-time shifts are available. The listed afternoon shift is 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, with a $2.00 per hour shift differential and an additional $1.00 per hour for weekend shifts. Eligible employees may earn an additional $1.50 per hour when waiving the insurance benefit. Benefits and wages may vary by facility location, and certain benefits may require a minimum weekly work schedule or employment status.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of a DHS-approved medications course.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with eating and drinking.
• Help residents with walking, transferring, turning, and positioning.
• Support residents with toileting, bladder and bowel care, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Answer resident call bells promptly.
• Complete over-the-counter treatments as instructed.
• Document care provided.
• Communicate with team members throughout the shift.
• Help create a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for residents.
• Assist with medication administration consistent with resident support plans.
