About The Position

As a Non-Certified Nursing Assistant, you will assist with medication administration consistent with resident support plans and provide hands-on care to residents. The role offers paid, on-the-job training and is described as an entry-level-friendly opportunity focused on caring for seniors in a supportive team environment.

Available shifts include afternoon hours from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Shift differentials and additional weekend pay are available. Eligible employees may earn an additional $1.50 per hour when waiving the insurance benefit.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Successfully complete the DHS-approved medications course.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with eating and drinking.
• Help residents with walking, transferring, turning, and positioning.
• Support residents with toileting, bladder and bowel care, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Answer resident call bells promptly.
• Complete over-the-counter treatments as instructed.
• Document care provided.
• Communicate with team members throughout the shift.
• Help create a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for residents.
• Assist with medication administration consistent with resident support plans.
