Nursing Assistant Part Time Days
About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant for its Progressive Care Unit. Under general supervision and according to established procedures, the Nursing Assistant functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of a nurse, providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient-care unit maintenance tasks. The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a 32-bed intermediate-care unit between inpatient and critical-care units. The unit specializes in cardiovascular care and treats patients with a variety of diagnoses, including CHF, dysrhythmias, DKA, respiratory issues, and sepsis. The interdisciplinary team provides care to a high-acuity patient population.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or CNA, preferred but not required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience is preferred.
- CNA is preferred.
