About The Position

Encompass Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, personalized care to patients in a rehabilitation setting and assist registered nurses in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey. The role involves supporting patients with treatments and daily activities, helping them progress toward recovery goals, and communicating their concerns to nurses. Nursing Assistants build relationships with patients and their families and contribute to a supportive, collaborative care team.

Requirements

• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with patients and treatments as needed.
• Help patients with daily personal activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Prepare and transport patients.
• Communicate patient concerns to nurses.
• Build relationships with patients and their families and understand their needs to support recovery.
