About The Position

As a Nursing Assistant in Med/Surg, you will deliver high-quality care and build lasting relationships with patients. You will work as part of the Nursing Team, assisting patients and supporting a safe, orderly, clean, and comfortable environment under the direction of a professional nurse. The role is PRN and scheduled for 12-hour night shifts. Compensation is $18.00–$21.60 per hour for uncertified candidates and $18.25–$21.90 per hour for certified candidates, depending on experience, with shift and weekend incentive pay. Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Maintain CPR/BLS certification.
• Physical ability to perform the stated demands, including occasional walking, sitting, feeling, crouching, stooping, kneeling, stair use, lifting/lowering, carrying, and pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds; frequent standing, position changes, reaching, reaching across midline, handling, and pinching; and continuous vision with corrective eyewear and hearing with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Make observational rounds as directed by the professional nurse.
• Observe and assist patients under the direction of the professional nurse.
• Help maintain a safe, orderly, clean, and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Assist with selected procedures, simple treatments, and activities of daily living under the direction of the professional nurse.
