Nursing Assistant - Part Time - Westwood Ridge II TCU
About The Position
Vivie is hiring a part-time Nursing Assistant for Westwood Ridge II TCU. The role provides hands-on support to residents, helping maintain their safety, comfort, dignity, and well-being. The Nursing Assistant assists with daily activities, monitors health changes, offers companionship, and helps create a home-like environment where residents can thrive. The schedule is UPICK: employees choose from available shifts and must pick up at least 16 hours per pay period. The role is hourly and non-exempt, with a pay range of $19.50–$23.65 per hour based on experience, qualifications, and location. There are no travel requirements and no supervisory responsibilities. Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Minnesota.
- Ability to provide care with empathy, patience, and integrity.
- Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
- Ability to pass a state-mandated background check.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home health.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, hands-on care, assisting residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility according to each resident’s Plan of Care.
- Support residents’ daily well-being by offering meals, hydration, companionship, and encouragement for social engagement.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ vital signs, skin conditions, and behavioral or physical condition, communicating promptly with the nursing team.
- Help residents feel comfortable, respected, and supported by creating a home-like atmosphere.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure residents receive exceptional care and support.
