Nursing Assistant - Rehab Care Department - Full Time 72 Hour
About The Position
In this role you will be utilizing the knowledge, technique, and communication skills to therapeutically meet the needs of assigned med-surg patients. You will be identifying each patient’s age-specific needs and providing the appropriate care. You will be utilizing excellent interpersonal skills with legible penmanship and computer knowledge, as well as the hospital computer system. You will be working collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide direct patient care and report patient changes to the Registered Nurse. You will be providing direct patient care to the rehab patient.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
Nice To Haves
- 1 year med-surg experience preferred
- Successful completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program preferred
