About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Lakeway, TX is seeking a PRN Nursing Assistant/PCT for their Inpatient facility. This role offers flexible scheduling options, with available shifts including day or night. The Nursing Assistant/PCT works collaboratively with nursing and therapy teams to assist patients in their rehabilitation process. Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, assisting patients with daily activities, promptly answering call lights, reporting observed issues or progress, and reinforcing rehabilitation techniques as assigned by the therapy team. The role also involves encouraging and supporting patients through their recovery process and guiding them to reach their goals.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience preferred
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred
Responsibilities
