About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Nursing Assistant/PCT for their Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital in Lakeway, TX. This role offers flexible scheduling options, with PRN shifts available for both day and night. The Nursing Assistant/PCT will work collaboratively with nursing and therapy teams to assist patients in their rehabilitation process. Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, assisting patients with daily activities, promptly answering call lights, reporting observations on patient issues or progress, and reinforcing therapy techniques as assigned. The role also involves encouraging and supporting patients throughout their recovery journey.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience preferred
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred
Responsibilities
- Obtaining vital signs
