About The Position
This role involves providing patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting, adhering to mandatory entity and departmental requirements. The position emphasizes a customer service approach, effective time management, and appropriate resource utilization. Responsibilities include documentation, specimen collection and processing, and addressing the age-specific needs of adolescents, adults, and older adults. The role also requires participation in the nursing process, proficiency in computerized nursing informatics, and self-assessment of learning needs. Other work-related duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- CNA
- Must write and understand English.
- 6 months experience in a health care setting.
- Must have completed EKG Course.
- BLS.
- Phlebotomy.

- Utilizes internal and external resources appropriately.
- Documents according to entity/departmental guidelines.
- Utilizes techniques of time management effectively.
- Obtains specimens according to policies and procedures.
- Processes specimens according to policies and procedures.
- Addresses age-specific needs of adolescents, adults and older adults.
- Participates in the nursing process during delivery of patient care.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Computerized Nursing Informatics (Information Systems).
- Assesses personal and learning development needs.
- Performs other work related duties as assigned or requested.
