About The Position
Avalon Care Center at Northpointe in Spokane, Washington, is hiring a full-time Nursing Assistant (NAR) for day or evening shifts at $20.00 per hour. This role is an opportunity for individuals who have completed CNA training and clinicals and are waiting for their CNA certification to become active. The successful candidate must obtain CNA certification within 120 days of hire. The Nursing Assistant works alongside nurses and caregivers to provide quality care to residents, including those with complex medical and mental health needs in the facility’s specialized behavioral health program. The role includes supporting residents’ daily activities, personal care, mobility, meals, comfort, and safety. Requirements
- Active Washington Nurse Assistant Registration (NAR).
- Completion of a CNA training program and clinicals.
- Ability to obtain CNA certification within 120 days of hire.
- Ability to pass required employment screenings.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities and personal care.
- Monitor and record resident vital signs.
- Help residents with mobility, positioning, and meals.
- Respond to resident needs with compassion and respect.
- Work closely with nurses and caregivers to provide quality care.
