About The Position

There is an opening for a Temporary Parting Time Nursing Assistant Instructor at Saint Paul College. This role involves providing classroom instruction, evaluating and advising students, and developing/revising curriculum. The instructor will also be compliant with clinical affiliate policies for on-site clinical teaching assignments, participate in department and advisory committee meetings, and college-wide events. Maintaining professional knowledge through development activities, promoting the program, and fostering diversity and cultural competency are also key aspects of the position.

Requirements

  • Diploma or associate degree in nursing.
  • Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience of direct patient care, one year must be in long term care.
  • One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field.
  • The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
  • Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • Applicant must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
