About The Position

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the patient during the scheduled work period. The NA provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This role is for individuals passionate about healthcare, seeking to make a difference in patients' lives by providing high-quality care and creating a warm, welcoming environment that fosters healing and positivity. Requirements

• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
• If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the North Dakota Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry upon completion of training/competency validation or a maximum of four months from the date of initial employment.
• If working in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with current work eligibility or a student nurse, currently enrolled at a school approved by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing, who has completed a basic nursing course and 16 hours of clinical experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
