About The Position

Emplify Health by Bellin is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for its 25-bed Observation Unit, which provides short-term evaluation, treatment, and assessment for patients who do not require full hospital admission. Patients may include those experiencing chest pain, TIA, respiratory illnesses, or COPD exacerbation. The unit serves as a middle ground between outpatient and inpatient care, allowing staff to monitor and assess patients before determining whether further care or discharge is needed.

The CNA performs diagnostic testing, precepts new nursing assistants under the guidance of an RN, and helps organize patient rooms by emptying garbage and stocking linens and other supplies. The role also includes refrigerator checks, phlebotomy, and EKGs, while ensuring age-appropriate care and service. Reliable, predictable outcomes and minimizing unnecessary waits are important. Proficiency in using Information Systems to their full capability is required; duties may vary by department.

The position is located at 744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with day and NOC shifts, an every-other-weekend rotation, and a holiday rotation.

Requirements

• Be listed on the Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry.
• Be proficient in using Information Systems to their full capability.

Responsibilities
