The Waterford at Fitchburg, a Sonida Senior Living community in Fitchburg, Wisconsin, is hiring a compassionate and dependable caregiver to support residents in independent and assisted living. Requirements

• Be compassionate, patient, and dependable, and enjoy working with older adults.
• Commit to helping residents maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in nursing, senior living, home health, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, while encouraging independence and self-care.
• Assist with medications and treatments when appropriately trained and authorized for assigned duties.
• Escort residents throughout the community and outside the building as needed.
• Assist with meal setup, service, and cleanup.
• Support resident activities and help create opportunities for engagement and social connection.
• Observe and communicate changes in residents’ needs or conditions to appropriate team members.
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to provide consistent, quality care.
• Treat every resident with dignity, compassion, and respect.
