About The Position

The Nursing Aide assists residents of The Jasper of Meadows Place, a Sonida Senior Living community offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care. The role supports residents with daily activities and care while encouraging self-care and independence, and treats residents with dignity and respect. The community offers flexible scheduling, technology to support resident care, educational and learning opportunities, paid training, and a range of benefits. Benefit eligibility depends on employment status and location.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, medication assistance, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Escort residents within the building and outside as needed.
• Assist with setting up and serving meals and cleaning up afterward.
• May assist with planning and executing regularly scheduled resident activities.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
