About The Position
The Nursing Aide works at The Waterford at Fitchburg, a Sonida Senior Living community providing care to residents in an Independent and Assisted Living community. The role supports residents with daily living needs, medication and treatments, meals, mobility, and activities while encouraging self-care and independence. Team members are expected to treat residents with dignity and respect.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED preferred.
- Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or a similar setting.

Responsibilities
- Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
- Escort residents within and outside the building as needed.
- Assist with setting up and serving meals and cleaning up afterward.
- May help plan and execute regularly scheduled resident activities.
- Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
