About The Position
Lincoln Tech is actively seeking passionate MSN-prepared Registered Nurses to join our Practical Nursing Program as a Part-Time Adjunct Instructor. No teaching experience is required. We will provide you with training and support to help you succeed in the clinical setting. Inspire the next generation of nurses at Lincoln Tech!
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Active RN license in New Jersey
- Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience
- Strong background in medical-surgical nursing
- Passion for teaching and mentoring future nurses

Responsibilities
- Facilitate a student-centered learning process; Organize and deliver class objectives in a clear, concise manner; maintaining an orderly, controlled, engaging, and safe environment for our students in classroom.
- Utilize approved course materials and teaching methods
- Communicate, support, and enforce school policies and procedures; advise students accordingly
- Advise students on attendance, grades, and discipline issues as necessary.
- Complete, in a timely and accurate manner, all required forms such as those related to attendance, grade reports, mid-term reports, student advising forms and all other assigned educational materials
- Maintain accurate daily attendance and grades
- Provide students with academic support, tutoring, and skills enhancement as necessary.
- Develop formative or summative assessments relevant to the subject matter taught
- Provide relevant enrichment to class teaching from personal experience
- Motivate students by demonstrating professionalism, enthusiasm, and sensitivity for their concerns
- Actively involve them in classroom discussions and/or activities. Identify different student learning styles and adjust accordingly. Complete required training materials for the assigned instructional position and remain abreast of curricula updates
- Participate in campus events and meetings as required
- Supervise and mentor students at clinical sites
- Demonstrate patient care techniques and teach essential nursing skills
- Evaluate student performance and maintain records
- Foster a supportive, growth-focused learning environment
