About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking part-time Nursery Caregivers for a classical and Catholic classroom. This is an in-person, on-site position located in Jacksonville, FL, for 14 hours per week during the 2026-2027 academic year. While a teaching certification or formal teaching experience is not required, the ideal applicant will have a deep love for the Catholic faith and be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church. RCA is a national organization offering Socratic classroom tutoring on Mondays and Thursdays. This is an hourly position, and childcare/nursery is provided for staff. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors will receive training on instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. All staff must complete a background check and mandatory training. No additional vacation days are given, though accommodations are made for sick days as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
• Availability for mandatory training on August 10 or 11, 2026 (TBD).
• Clear background check.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organization.
• Timeliness.
• Traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
