About The Position
Seeking a nurse to join the team at Hastings Orthopedics. This position works under general supervision while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care required to meet patient needs.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing required.
- Current registered nurse (RN) license or temporary permit from the State of Nebraska required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), with a recommended renewal date, required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete patient assessments and communicate with providers.
- Document and maintain accurate nursing records.
- Administer medications according to approved standards and physician orders.
- Engage patients and, when appropriate, family members in the plan of care.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
