About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring licensed registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) for the overnight shift at its detox and residential treatment facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role supports clients receiving substance use treatment and includes admission assessments, nursing shift duties, medication management, care coordination, and medical documentation.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN or LPN licensure in Indiana.
• Strong critical-thinking skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent collaboration, multitasking, and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in the treatment industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive medical assessment for each client upon admission.
• Perform nursing shift duties, including screening, taking vital signs, scheduling appointments and labs, and updating charts.
• Address pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations; dispense medications and maintain medication logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and utilization review teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, review charts, and log medications for each client.
