Nurse - Baylor Weekends
About The Position
The Floor Nurse provides compassionate care to seniors in Skilled Nursing at Acacia Health Center. The role is full-time on weekends and is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of medications and treatments, documentation, and emergency calls as indicated. The nurse also assists with direct resident care and helps foster a positive, supportive environment for residents, families, and team members. The position is scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with Baylor pay. Starting pay is $30–$44, depending on license date. A flu vaccine is required.
Requirements
- Successfully completed an approved nursing program.
- Current Arizona LPN or RN license required.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification with BLS and AED training.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Ability to document care given.
- Physically capable of frequently lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds, assisting with resident transfers up to 125 pounds, and pushing up to 150 pounds in shower chairs or wheelchairs.
- Flu vaccine required.

Responsibilities
- Administer medications.
- Administer treatments, including dressings, catheterization, wound vacs, suctioning, and oxygen.
- Assist with direct resident care as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medication and treatment administration and care rendered.
- Complete skilled charting, change-of-condition documentation, monthly charting, evaluations, and other assigned regulatory documentation accurately and thoroughly.
- Respond to emergency calls as indicated.
