Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) is an evidence-based community health nurse program that results in significant improvements in the health and lives of first-time families impacted by economic inequality. By offering trusted nursing care, resources, education, and support during the first 1000 days (from pregnancy until age 2yrs), families can achieve the future they want for themselves and their children. The Nurse-Family Partnership National Service Office is a nonprofit organization that provides service to communities in implementing and sustaining this program. Halifax Community College provides guidance and oversight for the Northeastern North Carolina Nurse-Family Partnership Program.
