About The Position

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Urgent Care at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies. You will perform rapid assessments, skilled procedures, and implement urgent care plans while collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, paramedics, and support staff. The role requires adapting to changing patient conditions in a fast-paced environment and supporting patients and families during stressful situations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Arizona RN license or RN license from a Compact State.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, safe, effective, evidence-based nursing care and perform rapid, accurate assessments to prioritize patient needs and support timely intervention for medical and traumatic emergencies.
• Organize and prioritize patient care activities according to urgent needs and patient comfort, and initiate and manage life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients through holistic care practices and provide support and clear communication to patients and families.
• Recognize and interpret changing patient conditions, including laboratory results, vital signs, signs, and test values, and respond in a timely, clinically appropriate manner.
