Requirements
- Associate Of Nursing, upon hire
- 1-3 years One year recent acute care telemetry unit,critical care or step down unit., upon hire
- 1-3 years Mayconsider training with 1 year continuousrecent (within 1 year) experience in aMedical Surgical area if operationalconsiderations exist., upon hire
- Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire

Responsibilities
- Performs routine physical/psychosocial assessment to collect basic data: follows the written plan of care, standards, practice guidelines, utilizes pathways, which includes notifying physicians as appropriate.
- Formulates a plan of care for individual needs, including patient population needs.
- Participates in the planning of routine transitional health care needs (i.e. treatment options, patient placement options).
- Adapts planned educational programs and information to individual patients and family by modifying teaching strategies or content.
- Integrates education during the delivery of patient care.
- Communicates patient's plan of care and significant changes to all members of the interdisciplinary team (using SBAR hands off reporting) and to the patient, family and significant others.
- Makes independent clinical decisions based on knowledge drawn from education and experience.
- Actively advocates for patient rights and identifies potential conflict.
- Seeks counsel for resolution of conflict.
