Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Handle with Care certification required within 7 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Nursing Assistant Certificate (SRNA/CNA) preferred

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of an RN, assists in assuring optimal patient care.
• Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance.
• Monitor and record vital signs, and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Assist nurses with procedures, including room setup and basic wound care under supervision.
• Transport patients and maintain clean, stocked, and organized patient care areas.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity while following infection control protocols.
