Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Handle with Care certification required within 7 days of hire
Nice To Haves
- Nursing Assistant Certificate (SRNA/CNA) preferred
Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of an RN, assists in assuring optimal patient care.
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
- Assist nurses with procedures, including room setup and basic wound care under supervision.
- Transport patients and maintain clean, stocked, and organized patient care areas.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity while following infection control protocols.
