Requirements
- One (1) year of general operating room experience as an RN or hospital-approved peri-operative course.
- May consider any experience in an ASC (ambulatory surgery centers) where procedures are performed that have the same acuity level or level of complexity as an acute care facility.
- Technical School Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Registered Nurse: NV
- Basic Life Support - CPR
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire is required.

Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care impacting patients' well-being and recovery.
- Provide individualized, comprehensive care.
- Perform critical assessments and skilled procedures.
- Implement patient care plans.
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Complete initial patient assessment and reassessments as indicated by patient condition.
- Demonstrate critical thinking by implementing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
- Safely and effectively care for the assigned patient population.
- Manage medication administration and intravenous (IV) access according to physician's orders.
- Document nursing care and patient status in accordance with the nursing process.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care-delivery team in verbal and written form.
