About The Position

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical, is seeking a Nursing Supervisor – Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position in Richmond Heights, MO. This role offers a weekend option with competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends, and a $20,000 sign-on bonus. The hospital specializes in inpatient rehabilitation for patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. Requirements

  • Valid State RN License is required.
  • BLS is required at hire.
  • Certified ACLS required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
  • CRRN preferred

Responsibilities

  • Direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant.
  • Provide and oversee nursing care.
  • Implement hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives.
  • Maintain approved standards of patient care.
  • Collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
  • Help patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
  • Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
  • Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement.
  • Instruct and counsel patients/families.
