About The Position

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Valparaiso Care & Rehab, you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships by learning about the life stories of residents and staff. Nurses utilize their skills daily to promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents, leading to a rewarding sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to exceed the needs of residents.
• Work with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive resident care.
• Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents.
