About The Position

The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and oversight of comprehensive client and family care services. This role provides clinical leadership to nursing staff, ensures high standards of patient care, promotes regulatory compliance, and supports the delivery of safe, efficient, and compassionate healthcare services.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional (Registered) nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of general nursing experience.
  • Skilled in clinical nursing practice with strong assessment, observation, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrates sound nursing judgment, effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to complete timely and accurate documentation.
  • Ability to provide compassionate care while supporting patients and families experiencing emotional stress; respectful and tolerant of diverse lifestyles and beliefs.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment.
  • Maintains current CPR certification.
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation in accordance with state and organizational requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospice, home health, medical-surgical, or critical care experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency in pain and symptom management.
  • IV therapy skills preferred.
  • Flexible, cooperative, and adaptable in fulfilling role responsibilities.

  • Complying with Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) Employee Health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
