Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
- 6 years progressive work experience
- 1 year management experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
Responsibilities
- Overseeing hospital functions on a designated shift.
- Conferring with the nursing staff, physicians, and other department personnel as necessary to meet the overall needs of patients.
- Informing the hospital administrator on call of any situation that may require attention.
- Managing staffing to provide continuity of professional nursing care.
