About The Position

Position Summary: Responsible for the daily operations of the Centralized Operating Office (COO), Centralized Resource Pool (CRP) or other assigned unit/department. Coordinates the allocation of nursing staff resources on assigned shifts. Coordinates and oversees the staffing and scheduling office. Ensures staff are competent to fulfill their assigned duties and responsibilities. Reviews and intervenes in critical staffing situations.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Three (3) years of clinical nursing experience
  • At least one (1) year serving in supervisory/managerial role in a clinical setting.
  • Current State of Nevada License as to Practice as a Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accepted by the American Heart Association (AHA).

  • BSN PREFERRED
  • RECENT DOCUMENTED SUPERVISORY/MANAGERIAL EXPERIENCE IN AN ACUTE CARE SETTING.
  • TWO (2) YEARS OF RECENT DOCUMENTED CHARGE/ SUPERVISOR NURSE EXPERIENCE IN AN ACUTE CARE SETTING.
  • EXPERT SKILL LEVEL IN ALL MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS, i.e. MS OUTLOOK, WORD & EXCEL
  • MUST HAVE AVAILABILITY TO WORK NIGHTS / WEEKENDS
