About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor / Associate Director of Nursing for the Behavioral Health Department overseeing CPEP, Inpatient, and Outpatient services. The role involves leadership, operational oversight, staff supervision, and quality patient care management within a behavioral health setting.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of nursing experience required
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience required
- Experience supervising nursing staff and departmental operations required
- Knowledge of quality improvement and performance management required
- Ability to manage corrective actions and patient care initiatives required
- Strong understanding of behavioral health nursing operations required
- Active RN License required
- BLS Certification required
Nice To Haves
- Strong background in Behavioral Health or Psychiatric Services preferred
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient behavioral health environments preferred
Responsibilities
- Plan and develop programs to improve patient care and employee performance
- Monitor unit performance and assess patient care standards with Nurse Managers
- Communicate and support corrective action plans when necessary
- Maintain record-keeping systems for medication errors and staff counseling
- Supervise nursing operations and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
