About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center in Dublin, New Hampshire, is hiring registered nurses for the overnight shift. Nurses provide medical care for clients in a structured residential setting serving people in drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation. The role is open to nurses with backgrounds in behavioral health, detox, med-surg, corrections, or long-term care, as well as those seeking more meaningful patient care.

Nurses work with medical, clinical, and utilization review teams to coordinate care throughout admission, treatment, and discharge. They also manage prescriptions and medication dispensing, maintain clear medication logs and thorough medical documentation, and provide patient education individually and in groups.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure to practice in the state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently, pay attention to detail, and multitask.
• Compassionate, dignified character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care to each client throughout admission, treatment, and discharge.
• Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and maintain clear medication logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and utilization review teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking, and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.
