About The Position
Villaspring is seeking registered nurses for full-time, part-time, and PRN positions at its skilled nursing facility. The role provides direct resident care and oversight of nurse aides, promoting excellent care delivery on nursing units and helping ensure the needs of residents, their families, and nursing aides are met. Nurses may serve as charge nurse leaders and carry out administrative and patient-care duties as directed by the ADON or DON. The facility describes itself as state of the art and resident centered. It uses Point Click Care electronic health records and unit-dose medication packs. The role offers pay of $35–$42, depending on RN certifications, with additional shift differentials for evening and weekend shifts. Daily pay is available, with payment the same or next day if needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current nursing license in the state where the nurse is practicing.
- Maintain licensure by completing continuing education requirements.
- CPR certification.
- Sincere desire to work with elderly people and enjoyment of working directly with residents, staff, and families.
- Good organizational skills and follow-up when patient situations require it.
Responsibilities
- Assist with responsibility for total patient care within the nursing unit and management of the unit.
- Provide direct nursing care to patients.
- Carry out administrative and patient-care duties as directed by the ADON or DON.
- Supervise nurse associates and take responsibility for their actions and care, including monitoring and responding to relevant policies and procedures.
- Administer medication and treatment according to physician orders specific to the patient.
- Instruct and observe care to ensure it is implemented according to physician or clinician direction or standard practice.
- Assist with and direct the patient admission and discharge process.
