About The Position

The Nurse-RN provides nursing care to individual patients and families in an ambulatory setting. The role includes screening patients, administering medications safely, assisting physicians in emergencies, and providing quality care in a warm and friendly environment. The nurse is expected to follow Patient First policies and procedures, deliver positive customer service, foster teamwork, and complete other duties as directed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Keyboarding experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Licensed to practice as a nurse by the state of Pennsylvania.

Nice To Haves

• One year of clerical experience preferred.
• One year of clinical experience with administration of medications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Patient First policies and procedures.
• Provide quality nursing care and create a warm, friendly atmosphere for patients and employees.
• Provide nursing care to individual patients and families in the ambulatory setting.
• Use sound judgment when administering medical care and screening patients.
• Administer medications and know the correct dosage, actions, and side effects of each medication administered.
• Assist the physician in all emergency cases.
• Provide positive, warm, and friendly customer service in all interactions.
• Foster teamwork and a positive, professional atmosphere.
• Complete other duties as directed.
