Northern Arizona Healthcare is hiring for Nurse Residents to join our amazing nursing team at our Flagstaff Medical Center location! The start date for the program to begin will be July 20, 2026. The Nurse Resident is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups. Utilizes the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. Nurse Residents will be under the direct supervision of a preceptor for all principal duties and responsibilities during the training program with eventual transition to independent practice after successful training program completion. Upon completion of the yearlong (12 months) nurse resident program the nurse resident will transition to the RN job description. Nurse Resident – An employee who has just exited nursing school, is newly licensed, or an experienced RN new to the acute care setting.
