The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Nurse Project Manager to support statewide quality improvement and workforce development programs. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing curriculum focused on maternal and infant health for various health professionals, including nurses, community health workers, physicians, and EMTs. It's an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about designing educational programs and dedicated to improving maternal and infant health outcomes in Arkansas. The position involves researching topics, creating instructional materials and assessments, and collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure high-quality, evidence-based education. Responsibilities also include curriculum implementation, securing necessary approvals from credentialing bodies, forging external partnerships for training delivery, and managing work plans and reporting. The Nurse Program Manager will be part of a diverse, interdisciplinary team with collaborators from the UAMS College of Public Health, the UAMS Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, the Arkansas Perinatal Quality Collaborative, and the Arkansas Center for Women’s and Infants Health. This team works closely with state agencies and external healthcare organizations.
