Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, PD, Pulm/Critical Care - Atlantic Health CentraState Medical Center
About The Position
Atlantic Health is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the CentraState Pulmonology Critical Care team at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey. The team includes five pulmonologists, seven nurse practitioners, and dedicated support staff serving the 16-bed Intensive Care Unit at CentraState Health System. The Per Diem NP will be required to work at least two shifts per month, with the opportunity for more shifts as needed. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the pulmonology team to deliver immediate, high-quality care to ICU patients.
Requirements
- Must work at least two shifts per month
Nice To Haves
- Procedures such as intubation, thoracentesis, paracentesis, intubation, chest tube, LP are preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Managing the critical care unit in collaboration with attending
- Writing consult and follow up notes
- Procedures such as central line, arterial line, and HD catheters
