Full-Time Nurse Practitioner - Duffield, VA
About The Position
Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings. The role includes prescribing appropriate medications and treatments based on patient assessments, completing medical documentation according to Crossroads standards, collaborating with clinic staff to provide holistic care and referrals, and performing injections. The primary center is in Duffield, Virginia. The target schedule is 32 hours per week, proposed as 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. four weekdays, with days to be determined. This is a W-2 annual-salary role, with compensation described as market competitive and based on experience.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure and authorization to practice in the state of practice.
- Primary specialty in Family Medicine/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Practice, or Psychiatry.
- DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice, with ability to schedule medications in schedules 2, 2N, 3, 4, and 5.
- Must have or be eligible for enrollment for Medicaid and Medicare credentials.
- Additional education or certification may be required depending on the state of practice.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in addiction medicine, preferably treating patients with opioid use disorder and/or providing medication for opioid use disorder.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings.

- Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic patient care, including referrals to other medical providers and community services.
