Full-Time Nurse Practitioner - Duffield, VA
About The Position
Crossroads Treatment Centers is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner for its outpatient clinic in Duffield, Virginia. Crossroads provides evidence-based medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and works to improve access to treatment and support patients in recovery. The role evaluates and manages patients with opioid use disorder, prescribes treatments based on patient assessments, completes medical documentation, collaborates with clinic staff to coordinate holistic care and referrals, and performs injections. The target schedule is 32 hours per week, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. four days per week, with days to be determined. This is a W-2 annual-salary position with benefits. Crossroads provides malpractice insurance coverage.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure and authorization to practice in the state of practice.
- Primary specialty in Family Medicine/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Practice, or Psychiatry.
- DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice, with the ability to schedule medications in schedules 2, 2N, 3, 4, and 5.
- Must have, or be eligible to enroll for, Medicaid and Medicare credentials.
- Additional education or certification may be required depending on the state of practice.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in addiction medicine, preferably treating patients with opioid use disorder and/or providing medication for opioid use disorder.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments based on patient assessments.
- Complete medical documentation according to Crossroads standards.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic patient care, including referrals to other medical providers and community services.
- Perform injections.
