About The Position

Warrior Vets Medical Services, PLLC provides in-person general medical evaluations to current and former U.S. military veterans. Evaluations take place in the clinician’s practice, are typically 30 to 90 minutes long, and are a one-time encounter for each veteran; they are not disability evaluations and do not involve ongoing treatment. Clinicians receive compensation for each evaluation, with pay up to $150 per hour. Payment is remitted within 45 days after encounter documentation is completed in the company’s EMR. The company currently needs coverage three days per week, Monday through Wednesday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., scheduling a series of evaluation appointments totaling no more than eight hours each day. Clinicians can create a custom schedule around their availability. A back-office support team handles administrative work, including Veterans Administration contracting, contractor liaison, and payment. An advanced-practitioner onboarding team provides training on working with the veteran population and ongoing clinical support. Part-time and full-time options are available; part-time clinicians work as independent contractors.

Requirements

Unrestricted state medical licensure without limitations to perform the full scope of authorized practice.
Education and training in a U.S.-accredited, post-baccalaureate master’s course of study.
Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), or certification by the ANCC or AANP.
At least 2 years of post-graduate primary care experience.
An established collaborating physician, if needed.

Responsibilities
