About The Position

Warrior Vets Medical Services, PLLC provides in-person general medical evaluations to current and former U.S. military veterans. Nurse Practitioners conduct one-time evaluations in their own practice, typically lasting 30 to 90 minutes per veteran. These are general medical evaluations, not disability evaluations, and do not involve ongoing treatment needs. The company schedules appointments around the clinician’s availability. The current need is for two days per week, with a series of evaluation appointments totaling no more than eight hours on each scheduled day. Clinicians create their own schedules, and the company’s back-office team handles administrative work, including Veterans Administration contracting, contractor liaison, and payment. Payment is made for each evaluation, up to $150 per hour, within 45 days after encounter documentation is submitted in the company’s EMR. The clinical onboarding team provides training on working with the veteran population and ongoing clinical support. Part-time and full-time options are available; part-time clinicians work as independent contractors.

Requirements

Unrestricted state medical licensure without limitations to perform the full scope of authorized practice.
Education and training in a U.S.-accredited, post-baccalaureate master’s course of study.
Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), or certification by the ANCC or AANP.
At least 2 years of post-graduate primary care experience.
An established collaborating physician, if needed.
